The U.S. Army xTech Program, in partnership with the U.S. Army Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Task Force, hosted the second iteration of xTechLive at Special Operation Forces Week 2025, held May 6-7, 2025. With a $100,000 prize pool, the competition sought cutting-edge technologies that could transform how the Army conducts deep sensing and intelligence gathering across complex terrains from small and medium-sized businesses.

The U.S. Army xTech Program, in collaboration with U.S. Army Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Task Force, is excited to announce its second live pitch competition, xTechLive. Set to take place during the Special Operations Forces (SOF) Week in Tampa, Florida from May 6-7, 2025, xTechLive will identify cutting-edge technologies aimed at enhancing deep-sensing capabilities for the Joint Force.

The U.S. Army Small Business Innovation Research and xTech Programs collaborate with artificial intelligence innovators to find and scale solutions across the Army. Led by the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology, Army SBIR and xTech prize competitions support a secure, Army-ready AI pipeline.

The U.S. Army xTech and Army SBIR Innovator’s Corner returns to the 2023 AUSA Annual Meeting and Exposition from Oct. 9-11 in Washington, D.C.

Through the U.S. Army’s xTech program, researchers from the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command, known as DEVCOM, Army Research Laboratory and Syncopated Engineering found a common research ground that will protect future Soldiers.

The U.S. Army holds a series of nationwide competitions to revolutionize the way it attracts and encourages innovation. The venture, which launched in 2018, is called xTech, and it is now in its fifth iteration.

The xTech Program, sponsored by the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology (ASA(ALT)), manages these prize competitions to utilize groundbreaking science and technology that can help solve the Army’s most critical challenges.
